Ha ha!
OK. I’ll comment. And tell you I get it. And that I l-o-v-e that the bottle tells you to turn off the tap! Although clearly they need better instructions…
My routine: Get in shower, shampoo hair – I don’t turn the water off for this. I mean, you suds up your hair then rinse. Not a lot of time in there. BUT. Conditioner I leave on my hair while I wash my bod, since you’re supposed to leave it in for a bit, right? OK. So hair is now shampooed and rinsed. Next, add conditioner – water still running so you can rinse off your hands AND get some soap on your loofa (or whatever that thing is I use). NOW turn water off. Suds up body, except for feet (they get slippery) or face (that’s last). Turn water back on, rinse off (usually back to water while I wash my feet, hair up over my head to keep conditioner from rinsing just yet). Wash face, rinse face and conditioner out of hair at the same time. Done!
I also turn the water off while shaving – so I wash mahself, then turn water back off for shaving. Conditioner still in my hair, haven’t washed my face yet.
Ok. Wow. TMI much? Well. There’s my explanation. All that said, I do understand it’s hard turning off the water, especially in winter. But. It’s one thing I do and it does save a shit-ton of water.
PS You’re funny!
HAHA! Thanks, you are totally awesome! I wrote this all down in my diary so that when I move to the equator…where this is no winter, I can shampoo while saving the earth!…oh, I also don’t have a diary
Hope to see you comment more! Thanks!!!!!
